Police launch cell phone app A new smartphone app known as MyPD has been rolled out by Methuen police. The MyPD has a host of features for common users. In just a few seconds, you can get access to a list of phone number of different police department. You can also read latest tweets from the twitter account @MPDBlotter, or post crime tips. Aside from these, you can get updates on weather, emergencies, sex offenders and wanted persons with ease.
The app was rolled out last Thursday. The tips posted by users as to fire hydrants who were buried in the latest blizzard helped city officials, and they shoveled out the buried hydrants in time.

You can download this app from the app market. The app is compatible with Android and iPhone smartphones, and is available free of charge. Once you have downloaded, installed and opened the app, you can get information about the phone numbers of your nearly police department by entering the city and state codes.
